How the Gallery Works
The public gallery showcases AI-generated music from the VelaSong community. Here's how songs get in, how long they stay, and what keeps them alive.
🌍 Sharing Your Music
Songs are private by default. You can share any completed song to the public gallery by editing it and setting visibility to Public. Shared songs appear in the gallery and can be enjoyed by the whole community.
⏳ How Long Songs Stay
All songs start with a 7-day base retention window. Songs that receive plays and likes stay longer — popular songs with active engagement are protected from automatic removal.
❤️ Engagement Keeps Songs Alive
A song with 10 or more plays, or 3 or more likes, is considered actively engaged. Engaged songs shared publicly are kept as long as the community continues to enjoy them — up to 60 days after the last play or like.
🎬 Video Retention
Music videos (both CPU-rendered and AI-generated) are stored for 7 days. Download your videos before they expire — engagement does not extend video retention.
🧹 Keeping the Gallery Fresh
Songs that have not received any plays or likes for an extended period are automatically removed. This helps keep the gallery filled with music people actually listen to.
